Programs
for HR Training & counselling are conducted on a continuous
basis by experts.
Mr. P.R Chadramohanan, well known re-evaluation counsellor
is in charge of this section.
Fitness
Center & General Sports / Games Facilities
A
state of the art fitness center having an area of more
than 1800sq.ft with all the major training equipments
function inside the campus. All general sports and games
facilities of common interest to students are arranged,
including facilities for net practice of cricket, indoor
badminton courts, table tennis, and football court. A
stadium with 8 lane 400m track and facilities for all outdoor games is getting ready in the campus. Basketball, Volleyball and Tennis Courts of International standard have been constructed in the College Campus. FISAT hosted the Federal Bank Women's International Tennis Tournament conducted by Kerala Tennis Association and Intercollegiate Twenty 20 Cricket Tournament in the year 2008.

Cafe
An Internet café with thirty terminals is kept
open upto 7 P.M to enable the students to utilize the
possibilities of web- based learning. 3 MBPS Broadband internet connectivity is available for this. MBA and MCA has separate Internet laboratories and WiFi access facilities.
ATM Centre
A Federal Bank ATM Centre is opened infront of the college campus for the convenience of the staff members and students.
The campus was declared as the first 'Yuvamitra' Campus of Federal Bank.

Conveyance
by College Bus has been provided from Ernakulam, Tripunithura, Kakkanad, Perumbavoor, North Parur
and Chalakudy. Adequate facilities are provided for College
Canteen, Store and Telecommunication.
IEEE
Student Chapter
IEEE
Student Chapter started functioning in the college in
2003. There are around 300 members in the chapter. This
chapter has been rated amoung the top 5 active student
branches in Kerala section. Three of our students bagged
IEEE recognition as outstanding student volunteer for
2004. The chapter organizes intercollegiate technical programs 'NAUTILUS - THE PRAYANA' every year. This chapter won the Best Student Chapter Kerala Section Award for the year 2007 and outstanding leadership award from IEEE, USA.
ISTE
Student Chapter
The college became an Institution member of ISTE on October 2004. Subsequently, a Student Chapter was also formed in the college. Now this chapter has 305 active members. The activities of this chapter includes technical workshops, invited lectures etc. This student chapter has been identified as the Best Student Chapter of ISTE Kerala Section in the year 2006.
Group
Advisory System
In the group-advisory system, one staff member will be
in charge of a batch of 30 students. The system is intended
to give advice and guidance to the students in all curricular
and extra curricular matters. The students
can meet the Advisor to discuss their personal and academic
problems.
Technical
Forums and Clubs
Student Chapters of Computer Society of India (CSI), and Instrumentation System and Automation (ISA) Society are also organizing many programmes of student's interest. All the departments have very active Department Associations. Hobby Clubs, Nature Clubs (SWAN), Robotic Clubs, Literary and Debating Clubs, Society for Communication and Overall Personality Empowerment (SCOPE) etc. functions in the college for development of general proficiency, communication skills and social consciousness.
Scholarships,
Stipends, Medals & Prizes
All
National/State/University level scholarships are made
available to eligible students. The College will provide
financial assistance to a few students on merit-cum-means
basis. Medals and cash prizes are awarded to best performing
students in both academic and extra-curricular spheres.
AICTE Fee Waiver Scheme
The scheme is proposed to provide Tuition Fee waiver for Women, economically backward and physically handicapped meritorious students pursuing Degree level technical education in Engineering and Technology. The benefit of this scheme is already availed by about 56 students. When this is fully implemented about 144 students will get the benefit and the estimated contribution by the institution will be over Rs. 2 crores.
